Sir William Blackstone (1723 - 1780) was an English jurist and held by the Founders to be the paramount authority on the English common law . . .
Our Blackstone is a wee bit younger than Sir William, being born in the 20th century, and is a living reformed, garrulous, retired member of the Bar . . . Blackstone cut his teeth on the vinyl records made by the Fab Four, the Glimmer Twins, Slowhand, and Jimi . . . At college he didn’t go Greek, but instead joined the brotherhood of college DJs, and still managed to somehow graduate . . . A surviving bandmate of blues rock garage ghosts Oliver Twist, Ledbetter Jones, and the Magical Hippies, Blackstone is now the ringleader for his own planetary, extra-terrestrial Rock n’ Roll Circus, Blackstone Rocks Radio . . . Most relevant for this page, he's loved music all his life, from listening to Green Tambourine as a kid after lights out, to catching Robin Trower at London's Islington Assembly Hall last May.
Long Live Rock!
A key goal of this station is to provide exposure to the next generation of rockers, on both sides of the bloody pond.
If you're in a band and are hell bent on making it not just in your local bar or pub, but globally.
If you think you got the chops to be the next Hendrix, Clapton, Stones, or Stevie Ray.
Then put down that pint and email us at . . .

It'll help if you've got an mp3 of an original track
